Ode to the feminine. The very talented artisan weaver - Pepe created this exquisite conch shell shaped “Speciality” basket over the course of 3 ½ weeks and we are in awe of its beauty and multi-dimensional nature. Honouring local basket traditions and creating contemporary forms with the oldest craft in the world is what we do best.. this incredible basket is proof of that completely!

Awesome in an entrance or foyer, a talking point for sure and perfect displayed overlooking the ocean. Basket is art we believe. 

The Baba Tree Basket Co has been preserving the culture of baskets and the Gurunsi community in Bolgatanga for the last 15 years. It’s here that an exquisitely woven community of artisans practice a time-honored weaving technique and their very own “rhythm and flow” as seen especially in our Conch basket’s unique spiraling features.
